Salvation by Grace through Faith Alone (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The doctrine is commonly taught in the world that a person is saved the very moment he believes in Jesus Christ,
that he is saved without any further acts of obedience.
Many Passages Say Obedience Is Necessary
The Bible makes it clear that while we are being saved through baptism and the Holy Spirit, we also need to
share the Eucharist, learn and share the gospels, respect and apply the golden rule, charity, making good
deeds, be good moral people.
We know that we have eternal life because God says we do.
It is not faith alone, but faith working in harmony with working obedience.
I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first
for the Jew, then for the Gentile (Romans 1:16).
The grace of God brings salvation to all men, a godly life brings an eternal life.
